Celebrating Seaford

The controversial planning application for an 18 storey tower block plus 5 smaller blocks of flats in Newhaven was considered by Lewes District Council’s planning committee this evening. Councillors on the committee voted to defer the decision following concerns voiced about the scheme. There were no councillors willing to propose approval of the scheme in its current format.
