Are you part of a group interested in nature? Would you like to help people to access, enjoy, learn about and look after the nature and cultural heritage of the eastern South Downs?

The Changing Chalk Community Grant Scheme is OPEN for applications.

There are grants of up to £7,500 available for community projects and up to £15,000 available for habitat-related projects focusing on restoring the fragile chalk grassland of the South Downs

Sussex groups from Shoreham, Hove, Brighton and Lewes to Newhaven, Seaford and Eastbourne can apply now for grants to fund projects that will make a real difference to their local communities.

Expressions of interest for habitat projects between £7,500 and £15, 000 are welcome at any stage.

We are particularly looking for projects that help people to access, enjoy, learn about and look after the nature and cultural heritage of the eastern South Downs.
