The South Downs National Park have set up an audio trail along the ‘Miles without stiles’ concrete path that leads from the A259 to the mouth of the Cuckmere.
The trail follows the valley floor down to the shingle beach and the mouth of the River Cuckmere which is approximately 2km (4km return). It takes in spectacular views of the valley and Seaford Head.
The Easy Access Trail at Seven Sisters Country Park is suitable for people with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and push chairs and it’s great for walking or cycling.
The Seven Sisters Country Park have two mobility scooters available to borrow if extra assistance is needed to explore this path. Details are available here.
A map of the trail can be here.
A QR code has been placed on 5 benches along the trail. When you scan the QR code you will hear about the Seven Sisters Country Park.
Each QR code covers a different subject, these include ‘the cormorant corner’, ‘the dark skies’, ‘the chalk grassland’ and ‘the maritime coast’.
If you are unable to visit the Cuckmere accessible path you can listen to the audio trail on the South Downs National Park YouTube channel.
