Chyngfest, an annual free for all festival in Seaford, takes place THIS Sunday 11am-4pm.
Taking place on Walmer Road Recreational Park it’s hosted and financed entirely by members of Life Church Seaford (https://seaford.life/ ) and is a celebration of all the things we love. Chyngfest exists to give a day out for the whole community that doesn’t pinch the purse!
Summer should be a time for getting together with others, for getting to know your neighbours and for celebrating this glorious town of ours! We love Seaford and love everyone who calls this place home.
Here’s the schedule:
At 11am there’s an open air church service for all. With contemporary worship songs, stories of life change from local Seafordians and a positive message of hope, whether you’re a regular churchgoer or not we hope you’ll consider joining us.
Then at 12pm there’s time for a picnic. You can bring your own or grab something from our food cart La Squadra Della Pizza ( https://lasquadradellapizza.com/ ).
Next begins the festival in full. From 1pm-4pm there’s live music from local musicians, inflatables, face painting, a ‘cost of living’ tombola (featuring practical household goods), volleyball, archery, football and more.
The best thing about it is that it’s all absolutely free!
I don’t know how you’re planning on passing the time before the nerve-racking finals of Euro 2024, but this will help you prepare for sure!
