Seaford Open Gardens

Sunday 30th June 2024 11am – 5pm

8 gardens in Seaford will be opening this Sunday as part of the National Garden Scheme raising money for charity.

The gardens taking part are:-

  • 34 Chyngton Road, BN25 4HP
  • 5 Clementine Avenue, BN25 2UU
  • Cosy Cottage, 69 Firle Road, BN25 2JA
  • Madehurst, 67 Firle Road, BN25 2JA
  • Cupani Garden, 8 Sandgate Road, BN25 3LL
  • 8 Downs Road, BN25 4QL
  • Seaford Allotments, Sutton Drove, BN25 3NQ

Combined entry to all of the gardens is £8, free entry for children

Light refreshments will be available at 34 Chyngton Road, Cosy Cottage and Marion’s pop up teas at Seaford Allotments. Ice cream and soft drinks will be available at Cupani.

Burford Garden

A mature garden with a mix of flowers, vegetables and an auricula theatre.

34 Chyngton Road

A mature garden of shrubs, trees, herbaceous and vegetable beds.

5 Clementine Avenue

A garden over several levels with agave and succulents and great views over the downs.

Cosy Cottage, 69 Firle Road

A garden over 3 levels with ponds, flowers, vegetables and shrubs.

Madehurst, 67 Firle Road

A garden on different levels with mature planting.

Cupani Garden, 8 Sandgate Road

A tranquil haven with a delightful mix of trees, shrubs and perenial border, courtyard garden, gazebo, summerhouse, water features, sweet peas and a huge range of plants.

8 Downs Road

A delightful mix of shrubs, block planted herbaceous beds and vegetables.

Seaford Allotments

A unique chance to see a variety of planting and colour. A site of 189 well maintained plots with a wildlife area and compost WC
