Excursion from Eastbourne Pier

For the first time in 20 years the Waverley Paddle Steamer will be running an excursion from Eastbourne Pier to Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters on Thursday 12th September.

The afternoon excursion has already sold out. There are still places available on the evening excursion which sails at 17:30.

The Waverley was built to replace the 1899 Waverley which was sunk by enemy action on May 29, 1940 at Dunkirk.

The Waverley’s maiden voyage was June 16th, 1947. the Waverley is the world’s last seagoing paddle steamer.
